Rain/Dust cover for VX2100

Im looking to get a rain/dust cover for my VX2100, does anyone have any recommendations?
I would like to spend around $40, $50 or so, (however my budget is set at $100 *if the quality is worth it that is).

Question... if you use a cover, would it still be possible to mount an accessories onto the shoe of the camera (such as a Sony 10/20 watt light, mic etc...)??

TIA

Here it's

Hello Dave:

The Kata RC-14 Raincover f/Sony VX-2000/PD150 and other medium compact camcorders is great! Amazon has it in a very good price $ 70 ....I paid near $ 83...But since I bought that does not rain where I live....;-) so may be it can helps to evite the rain too.....

I believe the RC-14 has some aditional aditament for to protect a shotgun mic...I am afraid you can't use the light

I bought a Petrol cover for my VX2100:

It seems well made but I haven't tested in the rain yet (so far having it has worked to keep the rain away). But be aware that the VX and PD cameras differ in where the external mic mounts -- on the VX the mount is directly on top, whereas its slightly to the side on the PD. The Petrol rain cover is designed for the PD series, and I haven't been able to devise a way to fit it over my camera with the Rode VideoMic attached. Its obvious from the picture -- I just didn't think about this complication when I bought it.
