B&H lists it as a ENG PD150. The PD150AP is the PAL version.

is there any features in the "K" that aren't in the standard 150?

That, I cannot not tell. I couldn't find a breakdown of all the specs, just the general items. Price differences might be a clue from the same vendor. I suspect if you call B&H they might be able to tell you too.

"K" stands for kit. They add a Sony soft case.

Not once you get the kit.

You get a very nice semi-rigid case for the camera and a lot of acessories plus a rain cover for the camera. These are both made by Peatol in Israel, I believe.

The case is much nicer for field work than the Portabrace I have for my DSR-300. Holds more (OK, the camera is a wee bit smaller) but if one is going to have a camera bag, make the thing square so it can carry more goodies.

I get the camera, headphones, microphone, filters, batteries, tape, remote control, XLR cable, Lanc controller, manual, and various other bits and pieces in the case. Still have room for a VHS tape if I want.

For the extra $200, I think it is a bargain.
