Simple VX2100 Problem
I'm getting black horizontal bars on tapes when I play back things I've recorded previously and can now not record anything new. I know other people must have had this problem but I am not sure what the name of it would be and can not find much info on how I can fix this. :(

Try a head cleaner tape. Then use a new tape to record something and play it back. It might only be a clogged head. The horizontal bands on playback sounds like a dirty head problem.
