Firewire output
This is a very simple question: Whilst shooting in HQ 35mb format, does the EX1 produce a normal HDV data stream at the firewire output? I'm interesed to know for monitoring purposes, whilst shooting, using On Location in ye olde laptop.

Paul, unfortunately in HQ mode the firewire output is disabled. It only outputs HDV format when the camera is set to the 25Mbps, CBR mode (SP).
