Frame grabs - EX1 and Letus updated

These are only interesting because they show how nicely matched the Zeiss ZF lenses are. The master and both bits of coverage were shot with the ex1 stopped to a 2.8 - 4 split and the Zeiss lenses one stop closed from wide open (2.8 as they are all 2.0 lenses) the footage was shot at 1080i HQ for downconversion to SD, which was done by capturing from the card with a kona LHe and the results are quite stunning. bit of a fuss with sync though.

The Zeiss are the 28, 50 makro and 100 makro. As I recall we did not move the dolly any closer to the subject with the lens changes.

The Gaffer and DP did a really great job of pushing the latitude of the camera.

Really beautiful. Is this the Zeiss lens set that Redrock Micro is selling? Really stunning. Excellent lighting.

EX1 HQ To SD Via Kona LHe

Vince, I'm keen to know how your down-sampled HQ to SD videos play out after capturing via the Kona LHe card. I'm three months along the track with my EX1 and at this stage, unable to achieve a satisfactory result that is artifact free. Perhaps the Kona may be my best solution.

Thanks in advance.
