For those who have never used one of the high end 35mm adapters, this video posted by Oleg Kalyan here:http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=117016
could help you understand why the high end adapters are worth the money. They are engineered to the highest standards and are made to work as well as an Arricam. Although this video is for the new Mini35 Compact rather than MovieTube Jr, the level is the same.

This is a guess but if enough light is allow to gather on the image screen (little lose) , the JR might be the best of the adaptors. It's the static screen that will allow the higher shutter speeds to shine!

Anyword on the movietube jr at NAB? Eventhough it is very expensive, it looks very promising.

I saw it today and it was hugely disappointing. It was mounted on an EX1 and there was a lot of noise on the Marshall monitor it was connected to but more importantly the BOKEH was odd. There were very bright spots in the middle of the bokeh blooms. The guy there said yes it wasn't the best BOKEH

Well then I hope all the people that were justifying the 5k price tag can think twice, but then again it's probably a prototype model eh?
