some updates...I apparently got 2 bad PHUK-60 hard drives from B&H. I returned these units and of course they are out of stock so I do not know when I will be receiving my replacements. One mystery solved: The firmware numbers for the EX1 and EX3 are different as I was told by Sony and apparently the PHUK-60 should work out of the box...as long as you don't get units that don't work....
