Nikkor 180mm + adaptamax = 1000mm 2.8
Here is a link to a really short bit shot on the EX3 with the adapatamax lens adapter and a 180mm Nikkor - which effectively becomes just under a 1000mm 2.8 with a focus distance of around 6 feet.
