good point, heat is power, power Wasted, poor regulation, or having to run it higher voltage to keep it from failing or something.

but suposedly this isnt a "slow" normal speed thing, it is more like a SSD, with some big speed numbers like the SxS not minimum speed numbers like the SDHC. So the people using it for Boot Drives, paging and all, were doing it to run hard and fast.

When i run a SDHC nonstop pouring large data chunks in/out they warm up pretty good to. (with small data like many tiny files they dont get going very fast)

on the other hand they sell these at Meritline and meritline isnt known for selling extreeme quality items :-) if ya know what i mean.
