LCD/EVF brightness and contrast settings

My new EX1R seems darker than my old EX1. Can anyone suggest their settings? I have to use the LCD as a wedding videographer (don't have an external). What is the calibration procedure?

Adjust the screen the same as any monitor using the bars.

You have to readjust when ever the light changes, just like any monitor. It is pretty quick.

Mostly just set the brightness so the lightest of the black bars is barely visible. There is lots of information about screen calibration on the web. Here is one example:
