Well it is now set for Wednesday - I'll be staying home.
At least I can take a job I was going to miss to make up for the $$ lost on the airline tickets. Have a good time guys! |

I'd be up for getting together but I won't be very mobile once I get get to Titusville, so it depends on the logistics of where you decide to go whether or not I can make it. Please keep me in the loop. You've got my contact info. Kevin, sorry it won't work out for you. But at least you knew about the delay before flying down. |
Looks like the STS-133 launch has been rescheduled for no earlier than
4am Nov. 30th -- I'm keeping an eye on it and still hope to make it to the Titusville shoreline for what's shaping up to be a night launch now, probably the last ever night launch for a manned spacecraft from NASA for a very long time. An opportunity not to be missed! |
I bet that's something to see, but since my intention is to record the launch, I don't want to try a night launch so I guess I'll see how things line up for the craft...
|
By all accounts night launches are spectacular. They're a little different to shoot than day launches, but not really more difficult. With only two, maybe three Shuttle launches left, I wouldn't miss an opportunity if you really want to see one.
