Format SxS Between EX1 and EX3

If I format a SxS card (16GB Pro) in my EX1, could there be any issue if I take that formatted card and use it in my EX3? Also, what if I record 20 minutes in one camera and then move that card to the other camera?

I have done both many time w/o any ill effect.
