Whats the lowest price xdcam with no rolling shutter
I was wondering what the lowest price xdcam preferably using sxs cards that has no rolling shutter or flash banding.

Of the current models it would be the F55.

The next lowest price is the PDW700 but that is disk based XDCam.

When you bring up this one, it lists the camera as discontinued so I wasn't sure...

I have had Sony PMW500 since it was first introduced into Australia, In fact I was the first to purchase here, so I was told.... I purchased this camera as I like the look of the CCD block vs CMOS and of course with CCD's there is no rolling shutter. It seems strange the the B&H website has this item as discontinued as this has been like that for some time now and I'm sure one can still purchase the PMW500?
