A slider and a crane in a room with square walls and ceiling are places you'd really notice barrel distortion if you had it, and I didn't see it.

How long is your slider, 3' or 5'? I have a 5' Glidetrack HD Hybrid and am really not thrilled with it.

Not to threadjack, but if anybody is considering the slider from MYT works, it's tremendous, and I have indeed used the Kessler and much bigger ones like Fishers and Chapmans to compare it to.

Really nice system. Like air hockey.
Is there a way to add drag to ramp a stop? Fingers ?
I added the Dana Rail system with SS rails and a Losmandy Spider dolly modified down to a 16 wheel mini dolly. A bit heavy but rock solid.

I have the dana dolly and for the price point, its great!
Also, you can make it any length you want.

For the short the FORGOTTEN I used just one lens the Nikon 17-35mm F2.8 AF-S ED .I love this lens.
