Firmware 1.3 and HDMI
Has the new firmware (ver 1.3.1) provided for simultaneous HD-SDI and HDMI output with S-Log engaged?
Thank you in advance |

Re: Firmware 1.3 and HDMI
Yes. You can use SDI port "A" to get a 1.5g 4:2:2 S-LOG signal and use EITHER the Monitor SDI port OR the HDMI port to get a signal with or without a viewing LUT. The HDMI port outputs only 59.94i. It will not output 24PsF. The Monitor SDI port will output either 59.94i or 24PsF.
What can't do is provide simultaneous HDMI and Monitor SDI ports with S-Log enabled. The hardware in the camera can't support 3 simultaneous signal paths. No firmware is going to be able to add this feature.

Re: Firmware 1.3 and HDMI
Thank you.
It appears that it will now be possible to record S-Log via SDI to an external recorder, while simultaneously using an HDMI EVF, such as the Zacuto. |

Re: Firmware 1.3 and HDMI
Absolutely. You can do that easily now.
