Steadicam Flyer tips and mods?

I'm a new Flyer owner/operator (2nd gen, not LE) and I'm interested in others' experiences...problems, solutions, nifty ways to set up, enhance or modify your rig.

For instance, I'm flying an HVX200 and sometimes an HPX500, and would like to power a video transmitter and possibly other accessories on the top stage from the sled battery, has anyone fashioned a d-box?

The battery bracket tends to slip, messing up static and dynamic balance, even if you crank it down pretty tight. Has anyone improved the battery bracket mounting, either through replacing the battery bracket with a pilot-style rails system, friction washer, kip handle or some other means?

What about weight cages to add 5-10 lbs? Monitor yokes? Vehicle mounts? Any other useful modifications?
