Magiqcam et al

can people give me links to where to buy Magiqcam units primarily but also Glidecam, and any other bidy mount favs you may want to push.

this is for a camera system of (i would guess) 12-15 lbs

Also, has anyone used the Panasonic HD Varicam on any of these stabilizers? any pointers? How did you maintain focus?

thanks all!
Jeff

The Varicam is going to require a bigger stabilizer, Jeff--assume 20 lbs+ for that level of camera with accessories.

Unless the shots are intended to be all wide-angle and simple in nature, a remote (wireless) focus system will be required.

could anyone offer me a quick crash course on remote focus? i.e. cost, past experiences, "watch out for...", best bang for buck...

thanks!

I think remote focus is quite dear.
