The set up IS the new sliding gimbal, and yes it does have two sections.

The arm is only hanging that way due to the whole setup being placed so close to the door behind it.

The two orange bits are pieces of plastic tubing clues to the top of the 'pickle fork' so the paint is protected on both the dock and the head of the sled....

The straps were not shortened, that was the size sent to us.

The Monitor is a colour TV/monitor, brand is Lennox, it's alright, but does not refresh very well, in other words the image blurs when you move too fast..

The light shield is made of photo album material glued together with a hot gun.
