I've been considering replacing my S100 with something smaller, and have been looking at Pentax's tiny Optio camera. I'd take the Canon, as I'm a big Canon fan, but the Pentax has a 3x optical zoom compared to the fixed Canon lens. They look to be about the same size.
Have to wait and see some more feedback on the SD10. If I wanted a party cam for snapshots only, the one Sony makes has got to be the smallest of the bunch.

I was checking out the Optio yesterday here. They had some in-house shots taken with it on display and they were beautiful. |
