Looking for a FAST FC
I have a D100 and I see SanDisk has a very good deal on a flash card - 1GB for $193. Sounds like a great deal but are SanDisks fast enough? I need fast write times since having to wait between shots to me is the biggest drawback of digital cameras. I shoot everything in NEF.
Any comparisons or suggestions are appreciated. |

Ozzie,
I, too, saw that SanDisk price and the same thought crossed my mind. I primarily use Lexar 1Gb cards with my Canon 10D. The card features "write acceleration" and even shooting large or raw the recycle time has never been an issue for me. In fact, I am often surprised as how fast the camera can lay that image to the card.

Thank you Ken. Thanks to you I just dished out $259 for a Lexar 1GB 40x flash card. Purchasing on the Internet at 2AM can be very dangerous.
But I did check out the specs and did a littlle surfing. The accelerated feature of theLexar card seems to be a big plus and just what I think I'll be happy with. |
