CF card speed tests
I thought that this might have been posted here already, but I didn't see it. So here it is.

Thanks so much for passing that along, Cannon. It's a new site to me! (Wow, that fellow really did an exhaustive analysis.) I'll certainly use it for reference in buying my next CF card.

I went to that site . . . sheesh, you could spend days sifitng all the info.
Right now I don't have that kind of time. My question is for anyone who has had the time to research and owns a Canon 10D. Which card (1 gig or more) is quickest?

SanDisk Ultra. The SanDisk Extreme is the next fastest (and a bit cheaper). I've been using a Lexar 1G with 32x write acceleration for a year and haven't found myself tapping my toe.

Thanks so much Ken. You probably saved me a couple of hours.
I have a 1 gig microdrive and have had no issues despite the numberous warnings and alerts, but with wildlife photography an increase in speed would be always welcome.
