Who cares about resolution? They need to work on improving the dynamic range of digital sensors!

I agree that resolution is not the only thing that needs to be improved although going with a 12mp sensor was needed. Also who’s to say they have not increased the dynamic range in the D2X?
I have a slide film background so to me the dynamic range is not to big an issue (Velvia has much less range) although if they through in a mode that gives you the option of having more like what Fuji did in the S3 it a be even a bigger reason for many to buy.

If you know how to shoot/process your digital files, you will have more dynamic range than film.

I just shot my first wedding with the D2X! The files look amazing.

Noise issues are non existent, the images are VERY clean. I've saved alot of back end work by getting this camera. The color balance is dead on, or very close in most cases. With the D70, I would estimate I had atleast 50% more backend work due to the shifting color balance.

Its to bad the drying times are not acceptable for wedding photography with the epson pro 4000(takes a month before you can put it behind glass!) a cotton rag 16X20 shot with prime glass will take your breath away.

I highly recommend this camera to wedding photographers using online labs to save money. Your backend work will be cut in half.
