Help, my friend got ripped off!

My friend ordered an digital camera from camerasonic.com and they sent my friend a cd cleaner instead. This online stores phone number does not work and I doubt that if they would even respond to e-mails. My friends credit card have been charged already and there is no way for my friend to even complain. Can anyone here help or suggest a way. Thank you.

My friend did and disputed it, but will it fly cause they actually sent my friend something. They sent a plain box with no reciept inside and the stupid cd cleaner. The digital camera is one of the expensive ones too. Thanx.

Obviously your friend printed out the sales invoice, so he can use this to dispute that the goods sent were not those ordered. Furthermore, He should point out to the credit card company that a CD cleaner does not cost the amount charged on his card, assuming that they charged $000s.

Here is where Camera Sonic is located (no surprise):

CAMERA SONIC, LLC
1504 Sheephead Bay
Suite # 2 A
Brooklyn, NY 11235

For ALL Your Comments or Questions Please E-mail Us

Mgr@camerasonic.com

I would send the email also, just for the record. If no response, then email/call/write the BBB of New York, the NY District Attorney, and the NY Attorney General, giving them as much info as possible.

Good luck!

Get full documentation from the shipper. If it was UPS or FedEx you can get shipping weights etc. to backup your dispute over the shipped goods.
