Video production rights
Hi there everyone.. Thought that I would pose some questions that have been on my mind for a while. I've been asked to produce a music video for a (soon to be famous) group with vocalist. This was based on them seeing some of my earlier videos which I produced for my own songs. Now, I will be shooting all of the footage myself, and doing all of the editing & adding special effects as well. All of the conceptual ideas will be mine, and I have a completely open hand.
No charges will be made by me, because I love what I'm doing and I'm hoping that it will open some doors for me, if successful. I am already in the PRS and MPRS with regard to my songs. Does anyone know who I join for video work, and what rights will I have and what sort of agreement will be usable for me. Any help would be greatfully received Roy |

You will need to consult with lawyers in your country. Rights on ownership of completed work varies from state to state (work for hire laws) and none would be applicable to your country.
