What to cover in service contract?
I'm doing my first wedding today and had the bride's mother sign a service contract (even though the wedding was free for them as a way to get my demo materials). My question is: what should I cover in my contracts? The one I made and used this time covers these topics:
services to be rendered copyright agreement limited liability agreement cancellation of contract Anbody want to share what's on theirs? |

talent release
location release if taping in their home, home damage liability limitations. Ability to use any and all footage for demo or marketing purposes Delivery Dates Delivery specifics (how many DVD's) ownership of original tapes & material (no raw footage released). Only cleared music will be used Not liable for any venue-related issues (lighting toooo dark, inability to videotape at all or get ideal locations) Additional costs (extra DVDs?) meal details will they feed you? What and when?) Their responsibility to review end product for accuracy on a timely basis (credits, spelling, etc.) 2 bridesmaids as appetizers. :)
