As a beginner ~ where to advertise?
As a beginner event videograher, I'm wondering where do most videographer advertise?
Can you share some of the things that you do to attract new business? Thanks |

In order of where I've gotten the most work:
Mandy.com Craigslist Media Match Sources from which I've gotten no work in ~2 years: LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, etc. ProductionHUB iFreelance Guru.com Media Mobz Yellow Pages Naturally, YMMV as you're in a geographic location ideal for this industry. |

Do some pro-bono work for charities, non-profit events and organizations. Most appreciate any additional exposure they can get.
Word of mouth is often the best advertising, especially at first. This is a good way to generate that, and gain experience to boot. |
