Selling content on iTunes?
Any suggestions for how to approach selling video content to Apple. I know anyone can sell music thru services like cdbaby.com but since this video thing is so new.
Maybe the question is a little premature & they'll let us know in a couple of months. Maybe even Chris Hurd could become a media mogul & dvinfo.net could be the leading provider of indie content on VOD. |

You could always sell it on google and see if it takes off from there.

I have no idea, but I'd be really surprised if Apple will deal directly with every guy with a video camera and a low budget movie to sell ;-) I suspect you will need some sort of middleman to offer your film as part of a collection.

There is a specific application process for selling music via iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/musicmarketing/ Haven't found or seen anything yet specific to video. Definitely interested in learning about it though if anyone finds information. :) |
