Charles,

A touch off the subject but there is a new Chrosziel DV Follow Focus that you should check out before you buy the Century. Not knocking Cenutry, but for the price, the Chrosziel really kicks ass.

If you don't have a local Chrosziel dealer you're familiar with contact Letticia at 16x9 for more info.

Mizell,

Saw some pix of the Chrosziel unit, looks very nice (I use a 4x5 Chrosziel mattebox and follow focus on my XL1).

But we are talking about two separate, non-competing components here; Chrosziel makes the follow focus assembly which requires the Century adaptor on the lens itself. I don't believe Century makes a follow focus mechanism. With the Century in place, you could use a number of different follow focus units other than the Chrosziel, such as the Cinetech etc.

Perhaps I am misreading the item descriptions...?
