Would that be Pompy as in Portsmouth as in just up the road from Fareham - which cam are you after ??

Hey, I grew up on the edge of Gosport, and I never knew Pompy was spelt like that! Guess the neame was used more in speech than in anything written (even local papers). I used to walk from Tichfield Haven along the valley to the village, back in the days before there was a nature reserve there.
