I've been using this site for a few weeks doing research on video production equipment and techniques. It seems like there is a great amount of information here and some very knowledgeable people, so I decided to join.

I'm a typeface designer by trade, but I've always liked working with video. I'm setting up a small one man studio to do fun short films and potentially make some money at it also every once in a while.
