I know we are a few interested in "P2", i have seen positif tests for a feature film shot with a HVX200, i know that channel "D" has a large command of HPX500... but was not fortunate enough to meet anybody and discuss.
We are shooting a serial:"dizi" in P2: shoot, protect the card, P2cms (PC) to Harddrive1, Firewire 800 from Hdd1 to Hdd2, Raylight,and FCP2 (Macbook). A first editing on the set is a delight for the director; the use of Metadata with the nb of the film,nb of the scene, camera nb,shoot nb, and the fast transfer pleased the editor team... The final editing is done in a studio.
P2 saves us time and works fine. But there are plenty of daptations to do according to the studio which is used. Who wants come and discuss?
