Hi, everybody.

I'm from Worcester, MA, and I helped start a sketch comedy troupe at my college (WPI) called Kilroy. We do what we think is a rather unique thing among college comedy groups: we film a large majority of our sketches and do a show every few months with both the filmed stuff and a few live ones.

One summer, we make a feature length film (which is about to premiere... http://www.discthemovie.com/) and we filmed with an XL1 (until the owner of said camera quit) and a VX-2000 which were (and are) used for filming the sketches.

We generally edit with Premiere, but I use both Premire and After Effects. I personally have a dual Athlon 2000+ but the other editor has a rather less beefy machine.

Right now, those of us who started the group have graduated and are working for ourselves as we await money to begin making movies for a living. ;)
