Trying to break into the industry quietly with my side-business of photo montages, video conversions, video editing and soon to offer a family history type video. I don't know about big break-ins... not much space left I guess... maybe just finding a little corner to fill with services that others don't offer. I am doing the same, at this point DV is just a hobby and I'm still dreaming that 'one day' it'll bring some money. If it never will, oh well, at least I had a good time trying! The important thing is to love what you do. I'm off of Pleasant Hill a couple miles east of I85 - we should find some time to get together for a coffee and an exchange of ideas or something. What do you think? |

howdy Georgians, im from Texas but am an officer training at Ft. Benning (Columbus) and then at Ft Gordon (Augusta). I have weekends off (usually) and no camera but wouldn't mind meeting up or helping out on some short film. at home i use an HD100 and Final Cut Pro 6. my demo can be found at www.cinematicdream.com. *takes a while to load*

I live and run my business out of Marietta...
We started with action and motor sports a few years ago but have been branching out as of late. I never knew there were so many people from in and around Atlanta...nice! |

I moved from Lawrenceville to Suwanee and keep working (daytime job) in Braselton - I see there are lots of us up north Georgia...

Greetings. I moved here about a year ago. I mostly use it as a base for work around the world. I do work mainly with non-profit groups and those in Christian ministry. I have taught media production at several universities in the Memphis TN area. Also used to work for Apple. Used to live in San Franciso, Brazil, and the Middle East.
My passion is cinematography and telling great stories. I have done some freelance stuff, but not much anymore. |
