Newbie checking in from Delmarvelous Eastern Shore

Greetings fellow videographers! I finally found a place that seems to be heavily frequented by people who share the same passion for video as I have. I hale from from what we call the Eastern Shore. It has all of Delaware, and parts of Maryland and Virginia. I live about half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay in Delmar, Delaware. I just got my XL2 today! I bought a package from B&H which includes an Anton Bauer QR-XL1-C adapter, a Hytron 50 battery, and a Titan 70 on camera power supply and charger. Almost gives me the same feeling as looking at a beautiful woman.

I've been doing video for non-profit organizations that is shown on our local access channel. Had a GL1 up until a couple of months ago. I also produced a program on our UPN station called Fizbo! - For Sale By Owner.

I see there are a LOT of knowledgable people here willing to answer questions and that is what makes this site so good. It's always nice to know there is a place you can get answers if you have a problem or just a question.

Anyone else from "my neck of the woods?"

Dan

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry it took so long to reply to your welcome, but I've had my head buried in the XL-2 manual. Man, this is a great camera. Big jump from a GL-1!

Gotta run, I hear that manual calling again. <G>
