Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays, everyone!

ps-Here's to a safe, productive 2004 with "Rock n' Roll" by Led Zep taken out of Cadillac commercials. (Another one's playing right now...)

I know, it kills me to hear Zep, Beatles and now the Stones all selling out to corporate losers.

It's bad enough that I (we) have to work for the man to make a living, but those rich rockers are ruining the whole thing they created. The true meaning of rock and roll is to give the finger, so I am giving the finger to Zep for selling out. (But, I still love them anyway.)

In the words of Keef Riffhard, "working for the boss every night and day"....I guess they're working for the boss too.

Rock on to all and to all a goodnight....

peace, murph

Anyone get good gifts?

I love my power locks, alarm and extra tinting on my XTerra (bought the bottom of the line model), my Alien Quadrilogy and Indiana Jones sets, and the mini-vacation my girl and I are taking up to orlando.

heath

ps-I wanted to get Avid XPress Pro (student) for X-Mas, but it's $400 I don't have. I want to learn Avid to get a new job.

Heath,

An Xterra? Damn, I had one once and loved it!!! Ex-wife took it from me, but hey, I got the dog! You'll love it, and make sure you get the towing package...never know when you'll need it! As for Avid...if you got the Xterra, you'll be able to get your hands on Avid my friend! Merry Christmas...

Happy Holidays to all!

My fav. gift, Joss Whedon's Firefly on DVD! Including the three episodes that were never aired. I've watched 10 hours of Firefly already today, drank two bottles of wine, ate half a turkey, four pound of mashed potatos, two pounds of stuffing, a jar of cranberries, and a quart of gravy. MMMmmmm, life is good.

Heath and all,

I'm getting my 3rd Powerbook power supply because my cats keep eating the cord!! That's $80 a pop - my girlfriend bought me a new on. Any advice for saving cords from cats??

Also, I'm giving my girlfriend and I a "mini-vacation" too...skiing in the White Mountains. (1 hour north of us here.)

By the way, Heath...if you ever get up to the New England are we should hangout. If you guys ever wanted to go skiiing - we live next to some of the best skiing places in the country.

Our cats are OUTSIDE. Never had a problem with them chewing any cords INSIDE.

How about little sections of pvc? Cord can still bend, cats can play but not chew. Bless you for being patient with them this year!

(note to Dylan) There was a nice tripod and dolly under the tree for me! Now I can focus on that manual lens of yours. :)

I've had problems with previous cats chewing on cords. The two cats I have now have plenty of other bad habits, but not this one. It is something you should try to break them of since sooner or later they'll chew into a live AC cord :-0 You can get "cat repellent" sprays at a pet store, you might try that.

Skiing--haven't done that in years, since I hit a tree (long story) in Colorado. Marlene and I were talking about going to New England one day...Maybe in a year or two; my film 9:04 AM is going to take up a lot of time over the next 2 years or so.
