Looking for a mouse, the computer kind.

Couldn't find a more appropriate forum to post under, so I'll do it here. I have a laptop that I'll be using a lot for Photoshop stuffs. I'm looking for a mouse (preferrably wireless, but doesn't have to be) that has excellent fine movement control. I'm currently using a Logictech, the one with the big red ball. It is pretty good, but I'd like to find out if there's a "better" one out on the market. Mine's about 3 years old.

Thanks,

Depending on how you like to work (sounds like you have a trackball now?), Logitech makes the little revolution VX, wireless and pretty small, I like it, lots of programmable buttons/functions - I almost prefer it to the revolution MX I use on my main box. Works on most surfaces fairly accurately too.

All depends on how you like to work really, I know I always found Macs with one button to be pretty silly, they'd probably find me silly with all my buttons, wheels and functions...

There are always gaming mice with adjustable DPI too... Logitech has always done well for me, although I've had a couple Microsoft mice too, ended up back with Logitech...

Been using that Logitech with the red ball for 2 years now, you get used to it.

I don't like too many wireless rigs floating around, might muck up the cell, TV, car alarm, garage door and a few things I haven't bought yet. Cheers.

Yeah, I have the red trackball Logitech. You gotta have steady fingers when rolling that ball around.
