Website Template for Video (Ipad Friendly)

Hello,

I am looking to update my website for my wedding videography business and am hoping to find a company similar to Bludomain or bigfolio that offers website templates. The catch is that I want the site to be iPad/iPhone friendly and actually play my video on those devices, anyone have any recommendations? Better yet, do you have a website with video that I can view on my iPad?

Thanks!

Re: Website Template for Video (Ipad Friendly)

Hi Chris,

Press75 - Press75.com|Exceptional WordPress Themes do some nice Wordpress templates which are very good for portfolio display. Many are tailored for video as well. They aren't natively iPad friendly but you can get them as an add-on/separate them from these people - On Demand iPad | WPtap

Just to say I have no affiliation with either mentioned above, I've just been using some of Press75's themes for a while.

Re: Website Template for Video (Ipad Friendly)

Hello Chris.

Like Jon, I also use a WordPress template and embed some of the videos from my Vimeo Plus account on my website. My videos from Vimeo now play on the Ipad.

I also have a link in the sidebar of my site to my YouTube Channel. To the best of my knowledge, YouTube is still Flash based, so I wouldn't expect those to play on the Ipad. There is a beta program on YouTube using HTML5, but I'm not participating in that.

Good luck starting up your business. I've made it through the first two years. It's tough work, but fun. There's a lot to learn about running a business. I spend a lot of time studying marketing. Being able to show some of your videos online to prospects is an important part of marketing a video business.

Oops, I just realized that a small number of posts doesn't necessarily mean that you are new to the business! I lurked on this site for quite a while before joining, about the time I started True View.
