It's hard to be a camerman. (that tuba player at 01:55 must have been realy high)

Yeah, I think something must have happened which made them do that, they where even having fun right after the cameraman fell, I think particular sport or news coverage is one of the more demanding parts to film. The runaway formula 1 tire hitting the cameraguy in the back looked very painful.

Been there. Was shooting a concert where the band was playing at one of those temporary stages where the roof is being held up by four crank-up lifts. I'm getting great footage from the pit, and managed to trip over one of the outriggers and fall on my butt. Luckily the camera landed on my stomach rather than the concrete.
