Palo Alto 'the movie'

I am currently working on an independent feature film in Palo Alto, CA. The movie is called 'Palo Alto' and is the story of four college freshman on their last night of Thanksgiving Break, their first time back since leaving for school. We follow them as they come to realize that their small town, once seemingly boring and meaningless, has much more to offer then they ever expected. I am working as the main boom operator as well as swinging G/E on the side. I have always worked in video and this first experience working with film has been nothing short of amazing.

Let me know what you all think. Please check out the blog, we have had some pretty amazing adventures so far.

That plot synopsis sounds pretty similar to something I've been brewing for a while. I'm from a small Iowan town of about 500 people. My story was about a kid coming home from big city college... back to his boring little town. One bar. One gas station (closes at 8:00). and nothing to do. Through his stay, he discovers something he never saw in the big city; a sense of community.

My idea sounds pretty similar to Palo Alto. Well, maybe I'll have to scrap that one! ;)

It looks pretty good though! I'll be waiting for a trailer!
