Bogen 3066 Head question
Hi...I just bought a Bogen 3066 from Ebay. So far have had pretty good luck with it all. The head arrived in seemingly good condition but there are no screws with the plate and only one telescopic arm.
I thought these always came with at least 2 standard screws and 2 arms. The seller said he only received one arm when he bought it new. I've written to ask him about the missing mounting screws. Can those be purchased alone or do you have to buy the whole plate. Thanks for any help with this. |

The head was sold with two telescopic pan handles. By screws are you referring to the tripod mounting screws that screw into the camera base? These are available at any well stocked photo equipment store. The original unit was shipped with two 3/8" and two 1/4" camera mounting screws.
http://www.bogenphoto.com/product/ type 3066 into the searcg box. |

I think it might depend on the age of the head or perhaps imported into Canada vs. US. I bought a 3066 new in the late '80's or early '90's and it had only one handle. But I do seem to remember two screws, also.
