good tripod bag?

I need a bag for my manfrotto tripod. It's just a 501 head and normal photo legs (055xprob to be exact). Can I get recommendations for a good durable bag that will hopefully last forever. Also great if I can fit a monopod also.

Aw man I'm sorry...I grabbed the wrong info. that's what happens when you try to do 5 things at once. This is one I meant to grab and yes I do use this with 525 legs and a 504 head. I'm sorry about the mixup.

Man, you nearly make me buy the wrong thing. So how long did you have it and how long do you think it will last?

Re: good tripod bag?

I bought it about a year ago maybe a bit longer, I don't really remember. As for how long will it last? No idea. I take care of my gear but it gets used and knocked around that's why I bought the bag. I have another bag for my other legs that I've had for 12 years and one that I carry light stands around in that's 11 or 12 years old. They both have a small hole in them but are still doing the job so I would hope this "new" one would last the same amount of time.

Re: good tripod bag?

I came across an old post on DVInfo recently where someone mentioned being on his third set of (I think) Miller CF legs. One was stolen, but the other was destroyed by airport baggage handlers. So maybe a hard case would be a good idea if you travel a lot with an expensive tripod. I actually use a nice padded Gitzo bag for the Manfrotto 055CF legs I use for stills, and I am reasonably happy to have it at the bottom of a pile of grip equipment.
