Oil Legs? at DVinfo.net

The legs on my Bogen 3011BN are getting stiff where they pivot near the head. Does any know if putting a drop of light weight oil on the pivots is a good or bad idea?

I would try a teflon based spray such as 'Triflow'. I used to use that on the steel guide rails for printer heads and it works great.
