shoveller

I went out to shoot some Canvasback drakes but they had left, shot some footage for practice anyway. Went to where i saw thousands of geese yesterday and they did not show up today. I did shoot a Ferruginous hawk on its nest, but it was pretty shakey so I did not post it. I did not want to get out and spook her of the eyrie. I will get some footage soon though.
This clip is only at 428x 240 resolution

The manager would not take my mov file, here I am trying to down load it as a wmv. Takes more than twice the memory for the same clip!!! If this doesn't work I will remove the audio.

It is a shame that we have such a ow limit to share some simple short clips. A jpeg has a 23.66 megabyte limit.
our limit is 3.72mb.

Very nice colors on a beautiful bird. Most of our non-breeding waterfowl (which is about all of our waterfowl) have left and some are probably coming your way. Enjoy.

Nice picture of the shoveller, though the file compression destroy some of the details in the plumage.
Sorry about your accident, I think you've developed very well in your shooting technique with much more steady pictures.
