In China and Taiwan, the official language is Mandarin. So they both speak Mandarin. But in China they write simplified Chinese and in Taiwan they write traditional Chinese.
In Hong Kong, they write traditional Chinese but speak Cantonese.

Well, I am French and I met a beautiful Taiwanese girl in France. We lived there together a couple of years then moved to Taiwan where we got married. I have been in Taiwan for almost 5 years now. But I still have so much to learn

As international as this group is, I kind of like using the Latin version. That is rather universally acceptable, isn't it? I mean, everyone has to look it up? But it is relatively easy to do so?

Now to explain the pronounciation.

Ein = pain without the p. So in English it would be written "Ain"

byd = basically bid but extend the vowel so biiid

ni = thats right, the Knights who say ni or knee

gweledigaeth = hmmm, ok the gweled part, is phonetic with a hard g and the e's pronounced as you would in egg. The igaeth part would be pronounced ig (igloo) aeth (ice with a lisp).

chi = basically its a phelgmy sound, the i is an "ee" sound with the ch being the throat clearing bit.

So all together now,

"Ein byd ni, gweledigaeth chi."

or

"ain biiid knee, (g)weled-i-(g)-ithe *ch*eee"

(denotes hard g) *throat clearing noise*

If anyone is really that fussed on how to pronounce it I'll get an audio recording for you.

Can it be presented in a running horizontal string like in English, this will fit best into the design? Excuse my ignorance of your language.

Those of you who understand Japanese, I want to confirm or have opinions on the translation.

Vision is the hard word to translate because it means mind and visual. In Japanese, these are separated to several words. We can keep it as vision but transcribed in Katakana.
Shikan means vision but less meaning with "mind" but I thought better than "shikaku" which is most commonly used for expressing the ability to see. Shikan makes it look like has feeling to it.

Kaku, why don't you write it in Japanese?

視感is another word for 視覚、but makes it sounds more with feeling instead of sight.
視点 is not a bad one if you want it to make it sound like "View point".

我らの世界、君のヴィジョン is also good one because vision just written in katakana.

You can type it here but I can't see it because I don't have the font installed. If you use Illustrator could you send me a Version 8 or before file saved as vector curves, then I don't need the font.

It would be nice to have it written properly.

I know that is why I was avoiding in the beginning.
I want others' opinion before I make the file.

Mat, is your computer as old as your Corel Draw? ;)
For info, I have Windows XP English version and I can see Chinese and Japanese without a problem.

I work in 3d graphics so as you can imagine my machine has to be rapido! Corel 10 just does everything I want from a vector program.....why upgrade!
