Splendid! But unless Ruth was very productive with two films, one might be mis-labeled. Might want to check on that!

I wasn't THAT productive. My film is Nocturnal Nature, I don't know who did Listen to the Night, but I shouldn't get credit for it.

Hi,

I just went to the UWOLchallenge.com site, and wanted to note Listen to the Night is by Bob Safay, so that should be noted in the credits. Also, I got an error in trying to bring up my own film, so I'm not sure why it isn't being found- I'd really appreciate if you could let me know if there was some problem with the file I sent. Thanks!

Hi Mat,

Thanks for giving Bob credit for his film- that clears up the confusion I was overly productive, as Cat said. My video still doesn't come up. I wonder if maybe the title should be in all lowercase? The other films all seem to come up for me, except the one by Benjamin Durin- you might want to check out his too, since I also get an error message trying to download his video.

Just to clarify what might be causing my video not to appear-

Unix web servers are case sensitive and the file name of my video is:
REH_UC6_NocturnalNature.mov

The link is:

I'm not sure if this could also be the problem with Benjamin's video- all the rest seem to work okay for me.

I can always include a link on a feedback thread to my own website for people to watch the video if it can't be displayed on your site- let me know.

Welcome back to UWOL as part of the family of cinematographers! You should put up your own thread because this is an entry I'm certain everyone would want to comment on. I would love to get your opening comments to this piece as well... for background info.

For me, everything about this piece was disconcerting and disturbing... which I am certain was your intent. So well done on that note. Since I raise a family of goats as pets, it was a little sad for me in the end. My sister is a world traveler and when she spent some time in Mongolia, she told me how she had to step over a goat head in a doorway heading into breakfast. I'm such an animal lover, I'd love to have all creatures herbivores and friends!
