Gordon- The places where the voice and video were off were where the dub didn’t match. If I had been clean shaven and looking directly at the camera more the results would have been even worse.

Hi Mike,

First off I had to watch this twice straight off the bat. The first time I was impressed and trying to figure out how you shot it. The steady walking shots. Was there somebody with a steadicam? No your arm I figured must have been holding the camera. The mike. Is there somebody on a boom? I was looking for a lapel mike. Then I read you rerecorded in post. That's amazing. I'm really impressed with what you did.

I wish I had have had you as my first biology teacher. All those small dry looking plants can look boring but you pulled it off so well. Very interesting and well done.

Thanks Owen. I was holding the little Canon SD1400IS at arms length and trying to point it, say my lines and not fall. I was semi-successful. I had intended to record to the Zoom H1 with a Lavalier mic but on another project the previous week the “talent” dropped and then stepped on the mic and I didn’t have the replacement yet.
