I have a plan, but am still working on some details of how to shoot. With luck, I should have time to complete an entry.

Went out after work to do some filming.
Bugs are still terrible here.
Realized that I may be too late to film what I wanted for Plan A so off
to Plan B

Thank you Vishal, perhaps next time. I had to cancel both hotel and flight this time.

I see there are more who are struggling with their plans / ideas.
I cross my fingers and hope the ideas will come to you.
On my little part of the world, we experience the all-time most wonderful October weather.
This time I can not blame the weather, but rather lack of time :)
Maybe something shows up at the last minute?

Remember to request the upload details for vimeo at uwol@dvinfo.net

(Better to get the upload info early than miss the deadline...)

How time flies. I got a few of the shots I wanted, but the sunset has been hard to catch, with all the ranch work here. I've been trying to get a horse stampede, but every time we call them, for feeding this week, they just walk up like they're too tired to perform.

Well hopefully I can come up with some footage, with no real plan, to use today. Kind of do or die!

Pretty much done with the edit. Just need two words or two groups of words to describe the first part and then transition to the second part.
Hopefully I'll figure out what too put in by tomorrow! :)

Re: UWOL 40 - Tales of wonders and woes

Ran out of time on this one. Too much happening all at once in my life. So this was my idea. The short version.

It was a scripted short film set in the near future. A young archaeologist is battling against the weather elements as they hike in a desert like environment. On their journey they come across a number of mile stones, like a ship wreck of an old wooden fishing boat. Each of these mile stones would contain the theme of the past 40 competitions embedded in the picture in a subtle way. Like the name of the boat, sign post of places, etc. At the end they find a time capsule containing a database of all our films. Postcard from the past. I was going to do a extreme wide shot that includes a half destroyed moon to imply that man has eradicated the Earth of it beauty.
