Monitor for film grading
Hi
I am hunting for a good 21" to 30" monitor (less than USD 10,000) for 'approximate' film grading work (log files, DPX, 2K resolution, 2 hour feature). Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there,
I thought your budget was much smaller, which is why you wanted the Dreamcolor. For under $10,000, eCinema PRO-2310 is the best choice ($8000)...or the PRO-2310-ADV which adds 444 and 3D LUT for around $10,000. However, once you go above the $3000 range, almost all good LCDs are HD-SDI (ie, no DVI/HDMI). Have you looked into Cinetal's 'CineSpace'? The latest version added plug-ins for Nuke 6. |

Oops, it was supposed to be less than USD 1,000! Apologies.
