7" LCD with onboard battery?
Is there a 7" LCD I can mount on my XL2 that uses a Canon battery that mounts on the back of the LCD?

Look at Markertek. They have small LCD's that use your camera batteries. I bought one and love it. They range in size from 5" to 8".
