I agree with Jason that initially the song felt too heavy and dramatic for the visuals you used (like the shot of the child). I think it would have worked better to start out with some distance shots or detail shots or shots of the church by itself. That would help ease the viewer into the music.
Once you get into the piece a bit I think it works pretty well, though. I would suggest you avoid using the various special effects filters, unless your client specifically requests those. To me they just take away from the original shot and disrupt the piece. Otherwise, I thought you did a good job. |
